Live-In-Week Schedule

Notice

The Allatoona Yacht Club is NOT going to have the fireworks show on Labor Day weekend, 2007 Due to the drought, the Army Corp of Engineers has been required to release more water than normal for Alabama; consequently, lake water level is being reduced much faster this year. Therefore the boating season will be substantially shortened. We decided that it would be best if we waited until the 4th of July, 2008, to have our fireworks show.

Allatoona Yacht Club

Allatoona Yacht Club's primary purpose and mission is to provide an environment that enhances the enjoyment for all our members with mutual and safe-nautical interests. Additionally, we are committed to excellent-civic citizenship that will support the quality growth and preservation of Lake Allatoona, Georgia.  Also, we are dedicated to supporting civic and governmental organizations, such as the Lake Allatoona Preservation Authority (LAPA) and the USCG Auxiliary. While our main focus and facilities are centered upon powered craft, as opposed to sailing vessels, we do have several skilled racing and cruising sailing yachtsmen as members.

Facilities

Our facilities include a spacious lakefront clubhouse with a magnificent lake view, member-owned cottages, floating houses and a full-service marina with covered slips. The grounds are in a private gated community and beautifully maintained by the full-time Club Staff.

Activities

The Club provides activities for all ages with the huge and well equipped clubhouse providing a central focal point for most functions. Menu and buffet meals are available from Fridays to Sundays in season, (May through September). Members are provided many outstanding services through the Club's full-time staff.

The club sponsors Sea Scout Ship Allatoona which provides water based activities and education for Youth ages 14 - 20.

Allatoona Yacht Club is a private, stock owned and non-profit corporation with 100 Full-Members and 33 Social Members.
